Arts District (18b)
An 18-block warehouse zone south of Downtown, now home to galleries, antique shops, craft-cocktail bars, and First Friday.
About Arts District (18b)
The 18b Arts District occupies the streets between Charleston Boulevard and Colorado Avenue, roughly from Commerce to 6th Street. The city formally designated the 18-block zone in the early 2000s, and two decades later it has become the most credible independent scene in Las Vegas — low-rise brick warehouses converted into galleries, vintage shops, record stores, and the sort of bars that don’t need a resort attached. First Friday, the monthly street festival that shuts down Casino Center Boulevard, draws tens of thousands of locals and is the easiest way to see the district at its most alive. Outside of First Friday, the neighborhood is quieter on weekday afternoons and busiest for dinner and drinks Thursday through Saturday. Velveteen Rabbit, ReBAR, and the Silver Stamp anchor the bar scene; Esther’s Kitchen is the reservation to book two weeks out. The district is an easy rideshare from the Strip and feels like a different city — which is the point.
