About Downtown Summerlin
Downtown Summerlin opened in 2014 as the retail core of the Summerlin master-planned community on the western edge of the valley. The 106-acre site has about 125 tenants across outdoor streets and pedestrian plazas, plus the Las Vegas Ballpark (home of the Triple-A Las Vegas Aviators) and City National Arena (the Golden Knights practice rink). Tenant mix runs Nordstrom Rack, Macy's, Dillard's, Apple, Lululemon, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods — the stores locals actually shop, not the ones tourists hunt. A Saturday morning farmers market runs year-round in the central plaza. A 20-minute drive west of the Strip and two miles from the Red Rock Canyon visitor center. Worth combining with a morning at Red Rock.
