About Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
The Bellagio Conservatory occupies the 14,000-square-foot space immediately past the hotel's registration desk, beneath a steel-and-glass roof modeled on Victorian-era horticultural conservatories. The installation rotates five times a year — Chinese New Year, spring, summer, fall, and a winter holiday display — and a team of 130 horticulturists dismantles and rebuilds the space each transition. Displays use about 7,000 stems of fresh flowers plus larger sculptural elements that frequently include animatronic animals, working water features, and elaborate lighting schemes. Plants come from the Bellagio's own 100,000-square-foot offsite greenhouse in nearby Cactus Springs. Free, open 24 hours. Quietest before 9 a.m.; weekend afternoons are the worst for crowds. The Conservatory team posts unveiling dates a few weeks in advance — check before a trip if a specific season interests you.
