About The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
The Cosmopolitan casino opened in December 2010 and still reads as the most design-forward main floor on the Strip: exposed concrete, dark wood, a modern sculptural ceiling. The three-story Chandelier bar sits inside a crystal curtain in the middle of the floor — an unusual architectural feature that is the property's most-photographed interior. About 110,000 square feet of gaming. The BetMGM sportsbook runs the sports operation; the Race & Sports Book sits adjacent to the main floor. The property dropped its standalone poker room during the pandemic and has not reopened it. MGM Resorts acquired The Cosmopolitan in 2022. The Identity players club was retired; play here now earns Mlife points in line with the other MGM Strip properties.
