About Bellagio

Bellagio opened in October 1998 as Steve Wynn's follow-up to Mirage, and it immediately reset every standard for what a Strip resort could be. Architect Jon Jerde modeled the building on the Italian village of Bellagio on Lake Como; the 8.5-acre artificial lake in front of the property remains the most-photographed piece of Strip theater. The 3,933 rooms spread across a main tower and a 2004 Spa Tower addition. Public spaces are unusually dense for a resort this size — the Fountains, the Conservatory, the Gallery of Fine Art, Dale Chihuly's Fiori di Como glass ceiling over the lobby, and a restaurant roster that includes Picasso, Le Cirque, and Prime. AAA Five-Diamond every year since 2001. MGM Resorts has owned the property since 2000. Book a fountain-view room in the main tower for the marquee experience; Spa Tower rooms are newer but face the pool deck and conservatory side.
