About Blue Man Group
Blue Man Group opened in Las Vegas in 2000 at the Luxor, where the long-running resident production still plays after multiple venue moves within the property. The three silent blue-painted performers execute a routine of percussion, comedy, and multimedia that originated in a 1988 East Village theater piece and has been replicated across six permanent installations worldwide. Signature bits include the PVC-pipe instrument (the "Blue Man-ist" octave organ), the paint-drumming sequence, and the audience marshmallow-catch routine. The show is fully non-verbal and works for non-English-speaking audiences. 105 minutes with no intermission. Ponchos issued to the first few rows. Family-friendly — arguably the most kid-accessible long-form show on the Strip.
